Thanksgiving, Christmas and Owen is 2!!!

Well we have been busy. Thanksgiving was busy. It all started with a visit to the ER for me. I now have a "turkey foot" scar above my right eye. Never cleaning again. That was on Wednesday night. Then on Thanksgiving had dinner with Aunt Beth and Uncle Larry and their kids (plus, Janet, Al, Kyle and Grandmother too) Then on Black Friday, Derek and I got up and went a couple of places. We started at Target for a GPS, DVD player and Steam Mop and got them all:) Then we had Thanksgiving with my side of the family at my Grandma's.

Christmas was crazy busy. We seemed to be going like crazy and I was cooking non stop. Christmas eve we went to my Grandma's house.

Then on Christmas we went non stop until late into the night. We started by opening gifts here at the house and eating Homemade Cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Then we got ready and went to Janet and Al's house. We open gifts with Derek's brothers and parents and my new sister-in-law. We she will be my sister-in-law in July. We had lunch before leaving again. Then we went to the nursing home to see Derek's Grandparents. After that we went to Aunt Lisa and Uncle Darren's house. We had a wonderful dinner and some great Family time. It was a wonderful but busy day. I wish we could have more time at all the locations. Then on Saturday the Hasselfeld's joined us at our house for dinner and some more family time. I did all the cooking and Derek made homemade ice cream. It was a lot of fun.









New Years Eve was quite. We took the kids to our friends Jim and Chrissy's to bring in the New Year. I really didn't take any pictures since there was really nothing going on. Mia just played with their daughter Alli and Owen played with Mike (my friends Ann's little guy).

Well, today my baby turned 2. So yesterday we had a birthday bash for him. He is in love with Mickey Mouse and opening gifts. I made the cake myself. I am super happy with the way it turned out. He has been working on blowing out candles since Thanksgiving and he got it down just in time. Talk to everyone soon. Thanks to all who came yesterday and for the wonderful gifts.
