So Busy!!!!!

Where to start.

Mia: Mia is keeping us busy. She is in the Christmas Musical at church. She has a solo, speaking part and she also dances. That has kept her weekends and one night a week full. She also does girl scouts 2 nights a month. Basketball started last week. We have practice on Tuesdays nights. Plus, school and her homework. We are getting her tested for ADHD. She does well in school she just can't stop talking and loses focus really easy. I have now clue where she gets the not being able to stop talking;)

Owen: Owen keeps us on our toes. We always have to watch what that one will stay or do. He is learning his ABC's and numbers. He is also super excited about his birthday. He could care less about Christmas. I bet once the tree goes up and he see's Santa next week that will change.

Erin: She is getting so big. She is in 0-3 month clothes and size one diapers. I can't believe she will be 2 months on Saturday. She is still on the montitor. I hope she will be off soon. We discoved that she was tongue tied and had it clipped last month. She didn't even notice. But it has really helped with the breastfeeding. We go to our 2 month check up on Tuesday. She was 7 lbs 2 oz at the last appointment so I can't wait to find out how much she weighs now. She has started smiling some and is a good baby. She has her days and nights mixed up for the most part but slept really good last night.

Derek and Danielle: We have been super busy too. Derek has a lot going on at work and was gone a lot. I hope it is all over but I am not sure it is. It is hard playing single mom. But I have plenty of friends and family to help out.

Ready for the zoo. It was just so nice we had to go.

For Halloween we went to Jim and Chrissy's house. The kids had a lot of fun and there was a ton of kids. Thanks Jim and Chrissy for having us over.

Hope everyone has a great hoiliday and will post picture from Thanksgiving soon.

It's a GIRL

ERIN LEE has arrived. I started having contractions at 10:30 pm Sunday night. After finally deciding to go to the hospital at 4:30, I was not making much progress. At 8:30 am doctor was ready to send me home. He decided to let me stay for another hour just to check to make sure everything was good. When he came back I had made big changes so he broke my water and started meds. I was still progressing very slowly. Then all of sudden I went from 6 to 10 cm and had a baby her in a matter of 30 minutes. I am still in shock that we have another girl, I really thought it was a boy. She had a little fluid in her lungs so she is the NICU for now. She has already made big improvements and will be home before we know it. I hope by this weekend if not maybe shortly afterwards.

35 wks and still counting down:0)

So I will be 35 wks tomorrow:) I am so excited to make it this far. I am hoping to make it one more wk at least, doctor wants at least 2 more. I was about 1/2 cm to 1 cm dilated on Monday. But that doesn't mean much some people stay at that point for weeks. Owen ask at least once a day when the baby is coming:0) He is so excited to have the baby here. Well, at least that is what he thinks. He might think different after the baby is born. We still don't know the sex. Some people think we have found out and kept it a secret. Those who really know me know I would not be able to keep that to my-self. Derek will keep you posted on the blog as my labor progresses. But we will not post the sex here or on Facebook until Mia and Owen have found out.

Really not a lot going on here at the house. Derek has a weekend class next weekend, so the baby will most likely come then. It is just the way thinks work. But I am hoping to make it passed then. Talk to everyone later. Here are some new pictures.

Kids finally in their bunk beds.

32 wks and counting down:)

We have been busy lately. Last Friday Owen went to St. Johns to get hooked up for a 3 day EEG. So for 3 days this is how he looked:

He did so well. He did keep telling us that it was heavy on his head and he keep telling me us he didn't want the "fanny pack" on anymore. But did well with leaving it alone. The EEG is see why he is having the seizures. He did have 2 so maybe the doctor will be able to tell us why. We have not heard from the doctor yet. I mill be making a call tomorrow.

One Monday we went back to have it removed. This is what was under all the gauze.

He end up having blister from where the leads were. Poor guy. But he was so excited to have it off. He was running around like crazy afterwards. He also kept telling us it was all gone.

Monday was also Mia's first day of 1st grade. It is hard to believe that Mia is in first grade and will be 7 in 2 wks. My goodness I am getting old. Time is going too fast. She likes her sub. Mia's teacher just had a baby and will be out for 6 to 8 wks.

After we got Mia off to school and Owen head was no longer heavy we went to get an ultrasound. Owen got to go with us and LOVE every second of seeing the baby. I got another good report for the doctor. The baby weighs about 4 lbs already. So much bigger then Owen at this time and right on track. I am not dialating yet but getting close. He says I will be going early. I packed my hospital bag tonight:) And we still don't know the sex. We have picked names out. Erin Lee for a girl and Parker Ross for a boy. I really love the names and feel really good about them. Plus, Owen can say both of them.

Mia is saying busy with school. No sports right now since Derek is in school and I can't take her. She will be playing basketball this winter. Owen has discoverd a new love for coffee. Lots of cream and no sugar!!!

I looking at pictures on my camera the other day and this is what I found:

I think someone needs her own camera. She is too funny.

Mia is scared to death of spiders. Owen on the other hand thinks all bugs are so cute. We had one in the basement and Mia was going on and on about how scared she was. She asked Derek to go kill it for her and Derek was in the middle of something and said not now. So she asked Owen to do it. For about 5 minutes we didn't hear anything then screaming from Mia. Owen had the spider in his hand and was chasing Mia with the spider, which was still alive. It was so funny.

Owen will also tell you my belly is big as a house. He came up with this on his own. My goodness how fast they grow up.

Talk to everyone later. Keep you guys informed of the baby progress.

Big Update with lots of Pictures

I guess I will start with this weeks doctor visit. I went yesterday for my weekly appointment and it went great. Says there is not change and thinks I should be able to last at least to mid August which would put me at 32 weeks. I want to go longer but I will take whatever I can get. If I make it that far we get an ultrasound:0) Love seeing the baby. I am gaining a ton of weight due to eating and doing nothing else. Oh, well. I also go my first steroid shot yesterday and get the second one today. It hurts so bad.

At the last minute Derek and Owen decide to join Mia in Florida for the wedding. Mia left at 9am on Thursday morning. At the same time Derek got a great deal for 2 tickets leaving at 4pm, so he got them. No one told Mia that they were coming and it was a huge surprise on Friday morning when she answered the door and Daddy and Owen were there. From what I hear the wedding was beautiful, I did see it on video and it was wonderful. Mia looked so cute in her dress and stood at the front the whole time. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Goewert. I am so happy for you guys. Owen was once again so brave and jumped right in the ocean. He just sat there and floated. I don't have any pictures yet since Derek is a man and only took video. I will be getting lots of pictures from in-laws and post them later. Mia says she wants to go back next year. Let hope that can happen.

I have lots of pictures some are a couple of months old but I wanted to post then anyways.

Quick Update but No pictures:0(

Sorry guys but I really don't have any new pictures right now. I just want to give a quick update for those who don't have facebook. I go to the doctor every week. I go any again tomorrow. That's Monday everything was unchanged, which is a good thing. We also reached our first big goal Friday of 26 wks. The next goal is 30 wks. But the baby is going good so far.

The kids have been lucky to stay busy this summer so far. Mia leaves for FL on Thursday to be the flower girl in Brent and Kristina's wedding. She is super excited about getting to fly for the first time. I have mixed feelings about letting her go. She has also been in summer school for the last month. That ends this week but then school starts up in about a month.

Owen is just being himself and getting into trouble. He is getting potty trained slowly. He will only poop in the potty, which is a good start. And the last couple of days he has decided to try to pee on the potty too. We get at least once a day. He keeps telling us he has to go but we are usually a little late. But at least he is trying. We are going to work on it when Mia is in FL.

Derek has been busy traveling (great timing right). We are hoping that is done. He keeps busy with taking care of the kids and myself. Plus, he starts school this week to keep on track for graduation.

We are doing great. We are lucky to have a wonderful church, family and friends. My friend Pam from church brings dinner over once a week to help Derek out. Pam also has taken the kids for a day here and there and takes them to hurt. Plus, different people from church have been bringing over dinner. I have been luckily to get visits from friends who bring me lunch. Thank you for everything everyone. If you ever want to visit the only time I am not here is on Monday's for a while to go to church. Give me a call.

Beating the Heat and Boredom

Well I have been on bedrest for 3 wks now. It has been okay. Beside some days I get so bored that I feel like crying. I go to the doctor every week and so far so good. I am not changing at all which is a good thing. I will be 25 wks on Friday, and the doctor I have not had any contractions yet. These wks are very big deal for vitality for the baby. Trying to make it to 30 wks at least, we want more but small goals. We are very lucky that we has such wonderful friends and family. Janet and Al (Derek parents) have been a big help along with Brent and Kristina (Derek's brother and sister-in-law). They have taken the kids here and there. It allows me to sit and not do anything, and Derek to rest a little bit (when he is here). But I really am grateful to Derek. He has been so wonderful so far. Let's see if he keeps that up in another 10 wks.

The last couple of weeks Derek has been traveling a lot so last week me and the kids spent 3 days at Janet and Al's. It was nice getting out of the house, even if I sat around there too. I also got to swim too, which was really nice. I didn't really get to swim, I laid on a float. Either way the kids had a blast. Owen is a fish. He was jumping off the side into the pool. I love how fearless he is. Mia is a little more girly. She just likes to float around and not get water on her face. We are working but I am not sure how to approach this. She is going backwards and not forwards.

Will update again soon. Talk to everyone later
