I know most of you guess it was Owen and you are right. He started almost a week ago. At Mia's basketball practice he was taking 12-13 steps after a ball. Then on Thursday he just took off. And has not stopped since. He is in to everything. Which he was was before but now he just does it faster. So here is a video for you to see the little cowboy.
As of last Monday Owen still had fluid in his ears. We have to go back to the doctor on Monday to see if the new meds worked. Most likly we will be talking to an ENT. I am sick of him having ear infections.
In the video Owen has his binkie in. I am tring to keep it out more so he can talk. He say alot of words. Mama (though it is not very offen, usually around food), Dada, daddy, dad, ball, pretty pretty, baby, kiki (cat), hi, bye, please (when he wants to) and thank-you sometimes. We are just trying to get him to talk more. The other night Derek got home for school and owen was awake playing. He was in a great mood. Laughting and playing, chasing the Cat, well he started to rubs his eyes so Derek told him it was time for bed. Owen laid down on the floor and went Night, night and closed his eyes. He already is a smart ass. Just like his dad and sister.
Speaking of sister she is good. Finshing up basketball and getting ready for tee ball. We have about a month between them both. Last Saturday she played so good. She was trying to get the ball, which she got a couple of times and passed off really well. She keeps crossing over the 3 point line to try to take the ball, but she loves this sport. She even almost had her first basket. It was up there and it rolled off. My heart stopped. So I stay Mia is a smart ass she proved it last night to me. We were going to play a board game and she picked Clue Jr. I can't play that game and don't really care to. I told her I didn't know how. She responed with I can teach you mom. The whole time smiling. Derek could not stop laughting. Only my 5 year old would want to teach me how to play Clue Jr. Next week the parents as teachers come to check on Owen and I will let you know about that and doctor appointment.
Don't forget Mia is doing the March of Dimes walk. Only 59 days if you wish to donate. We did lower her goal. Again you don't have to donate. This is to remind those who said they would.
