All Grown up

Well Mia has had her first real haircut. I was getting mine trimmed this weekend and she asked if she could get her haircut. I thought she would just do a trim but she wanted to get it cut. We both love, I am just trying to get use to it.

Here is a couple new pictures of Owen. He is getting so big. The ones is kind of smiling in, is when his daddy was playing with him. He does have a little cough and is stuffed up but other then that he is doing well. We are all just staying busy. Owen does love to be held to he can look around. Talk to everyone soon.

Owen's First Bottle

Well Owen had his first bottle last night. He did okay. It took him a few min. to get anything out of it since it was different. But he has gone back to brestfeeding really well. Now this will allow Derek so have some bonding time with him. Derek is going to feed him one bottle a day when he is home. Derek was very excited about getting for feeding Owen. Mia and Owen are doing great. Talk to you later.

1 Month Already

Owen is 1 month already I can't believe it. It has gone so quickly. We went to the doctor today to get a weight check and a shot. Owen weighs 9 lbs. and is 20 3/4 inches long. In just 15 days he has gained 2 lbs. The doctor is very pleased. He is starting to stay awake more and growing out of his clothes. He had a belly ache last night and keep me up most of the night but all is better today. He sleeps anywhere from 2 hours to 6 hours at night, depending on his mood. But that is if he is eating every 2 hours, today we start to feed on demand and try to go 3-31/2 hour between feeding. Hopefully last night will not get his days and night mixed up.

I will be heading back to work anytime now. I will just be working part-time. Which is best since Derek is not only working he also is back in school, which takes alot of his free time when he is not loving on his kids.

Mia is still the being the "little mother". Always tring to help. Sometimes causes more trouble then she is help but I know it is just because she is so in love with Owen.
