Busy, Busy, Busy......

Sorry. I know I have not blogged in a while but I have been busy. Between T-ball games, visiting family and some sad events we have been busy.

Last Tuesday I went to the Zoo with my brother Miguel. For those who don't know him he is 17 almost 18 and about to join the Army. I really could not be any prouder. The kids love him and he loves the fact there is another boy finally around. He has 7 sisters and 3 nieces. So Owen was very welcome event.

We also spent some movie time with my sister Vanessa and her boyfriend Enrique. We watch a couple of movies Juno and 27 Dresses both are must sees. Mia had her fun beating Enrique at bowling on Wii. She is so good at that game.

Then Tuesday night we went to our friends Chrissy's. She has triples and a 2 year old girl. Her husband Jim was out of town so I went to help out for a couple of hours. (Derek was also out of town) Chrissy is an amazing women. I never could do what she does. I just went over to make sure she had ate dinner and carry around a couple of kids. Mia kept Alli busy by playing with her. I didn't leave until all the babies were in bed. Owen really did not like me holding other babies. We got a couple of pictures of the kids.

Jimmy, Owen, Cassie, and Jenna. Yes, Owen is already holding a little girls hand. But about 10 seconds later he was sucking on Jimmy's fingers.

Play Ball !!! Tee Ball that is...Finally

Mia finally had her first game. It is so much fun to watch all these little kids play. Mia was so excited about the game she told everyone at every store we went to. She stopped people to tell them she was having a game tonight because there was no rain. So far she loves it and we will be playing again Tomorrow @ 1 pm diamond 12. After May 21 first game if you want to see her play and can't remember what diamond. Look for the kids and parents in the neon pink shirts. Yes, even the dads will be wearing pinks shirts. But do remember only real men wear pink.

So I took Owen back to the doctor this week. He weighed 15 lbs. 10 oz. with his clothes on but he is still a big boy. They did a chest x-ray and ruled to rule out things. There was nothing on the x-ray so he is amox. for 10 days and then a Breathing treatment using the machine every 4 hours. 2 times a day they last for 20 minutes and 2 times it is only about 8 minutes. So I try to give them to him when he is tired and will fall asleep. Talk to everyone later hope to see ya'll soon.

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Mia really wants to play tee ball. As most of you know Mia's games this weekend were rained out again. So hope fully things will change soon. She has a game tomorrow so that all hope for the best. If so I will post pictures for everyone to see.

Hope all the mothers had a Happy Mothers Day. We spent running around but it was well worth it.

Games and Shots

We just got back from the doctor. Owen weights 14 lbs. 12 oz (49%) and is 24 inches (18%). Still short and fat. The doctor was not worried due to no weight gain. Since last visit was a sick visit and not a check up (the weighted him with all of his clothes on). They go off of check up to check up. He got 4 shots in his legs and drank one shot. He didn't cry until the stuck him with the 3rd shot. He is such a big boy. He is Owen just when he turned 4 months old.





Look Owen does sit somewhere other than my lap and his bouncy seat.




He is giving me his big smile. He always smiles and talks when every he gets his diaper changed. Most of the time he does it on the "dirty" ones. But really do you blame him.

Everybody know that Mia is playing T-Ball. I am going to post her games times so if any one wants to come on out. All games are played at Wiethaupt Fields on Wiethaupt Rd. very close to our house. Before you come make sure you call the field to see if they are open 314-837-0525. If the field is open we will have a game. But if it looks like rain the will most likly close the field as soon as it starts. If you want to know for sure give either Derek or me a call and we can let you know. Hope see you there. You can't miss us we will have neon pink shirts on.
