Sad News

This evening my step-mom passed away. We will be going to Texas either today or Sunday. Owen's party will be reschulude as soon as possible.

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas for the most part. I hope of you all did too. Mia and Owen got some much stuff. I just don't know what to do with all of it. And Owen birthday is right around the corner. I can't beleive it.
Here is Owen playing with some toys from Christmas Eve. We were at my grandmas that night. It was so nice to see all my family it seems we don't get together enough with most of the family out of town. Owen really did unwrap anything it seemed he just could not get the hang of it.

Here are the kids with their Santa gifts. Mia asked for a globe. I am so impressed. I asked Santa for a house toy for Owen. We woke the kids up and Owen was still half asleep here. We caught him trying to sleep on a truck.

Sad News

I recived a call tonight from my sister with some sad news. My step-mom Su will be leaving us shortly. We found out about 2 years ago she had stage 3 cevical cancer. She has tried to fight and always stayed postive. She was not feeling well this weekend so my dad(who is in the Army) took her to the doctor. Her kindeys are shutting down. We knew this day was coming but didn't think it would happen so fast. We found it the cancer was in her bones a couple of months ago was told she had 6 months to live. I have heard that same story before and he lived for 3 years. She truly beleived that she would be around for a while, and I did too. I just don't know what to say. I have only met her once but talked on the phone so much, so I felt as I knew her. I love her because she loves my dad, who means so much to me. She has made him happy, even if it was for a short time. So I ask tonight for some prayers from my friends and family, we know the end is coming near I ask for a she will not suffer. She does not deserve to suffer she is a great women. Thanks.

Owen is almost 1!!!!

I can't believe it my little guy is almost one. We are having a birthday party for him at St. Ann Community Center. If you didn't get an evite I am sorry and you not invited. HAHA. No really I might not had your e-mail address. So if you were forgotten plese join us. It will be January 4. His birthday at #1 Commuity Drive, St. Ann at 2pm. Christma Pictures, Gingerbread Houses and Bath Time

Every year me and my sister take our kids to get their pictures taken. This year being no different. This year we got some really good pictures. I know most of you all have seen these pictures but I had to post them since they are so cute.

These are my wonderful, beautiful nieces. Audrey is 7 and Natalee is 5.(six weeks older then Mia)


This is my favorite picture. Owen is always sitting on Mia and always after her hair. But she always lets him pull it. So for me this is a everyday thing.

This picture shows his personality. Trying to get in to something. Just look at that smile you know he is about to do something wrong. He always gets that look right before he goes after the Christmas tree or after Coopers binky.

So every year for the last 3 years Mia and I have built a Gingerbread house. This year she was a lot more involved. I only really did the icing. But the catch was it had to look like the picture. We are not even close. But I don't think is was her fault.

What do you think? It was good but not picture perfect. But I would never tell her otherwise.

Bath time at our house is never quick. Mia and Owen always have to play. Owen loves the water. He can't get enough of it. We discovered that this summer. So the kids love playing together. Mia usually end up mad because Owen has moved to her end of the tub.


Here they are having fun again. In 10 years when they are screaming "I hate you" to each other I can look back and remember a different time.

Not much going on otherwise. Derek is leaving for Hood River, Oregon tomorrow. Leaving me to deal with ice lucking me.

Here is a video I got tonight of the little guy. Yes he is only in a diaper and wearing a Santa hat. I really know how to dress my kids. He was kind of crying at first but he loves walking around with his hippo. He has started to wave hi to everyone. When I get him up in the mornings that is how he says hi.

11 Months old already

My little sweet guy is already 11 months old already. I can't beleive it. This year has gone way to fast. Owen is so much fun right now. He is every where. He is also pulling up on everything. He has also started to push things around. It doesn't matter if it is a toy or a laundry basket. He stands up and pushes it.

Really not much else going on around her. Staying busy with cleaning and getting ready for Christmas. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving my was wonderful.

Hair Cuts All Around!!!

So we got haircuts tonight. Owen's hair was long around his ears and the back of it. So we got it cut. Mia also wanted to cut her hair. She wanted to go short. So I let her go pretty short. Here are the pictures of Owen hair cut but Mia's new do. I also went shorter. But no one wants to see that.




Owen held very still for the most part. Amy cut his hair. She also give Mia her first hair cut and she always cuts my hair.

It is just a little different but it is her hair and it always can grow back.

Sorry it has been so long on the updates. We have been busy. Owen is pulling up on everything. He is also pushing his toy around. He just usually goes in a stright line and only gets about 5 or 6 steps in but it is a big deal. He also is crusing. Most of the time after Derek laptop. Other then that not much going on. I am so busy since I started babysitting. I have the best little girl. I will also be getting my friends twins after the first of the year. So I will be even busier. My sister Vanessa will be helping me.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know I am thankful lot of things. Most of all my family and friends.

Quick Update

Most of you know that Owen and I spent 2 hours at St. Johns ER on Sunday night. Owen had a fever on Saturday, it was just a low grade so I did worry. I figure he was just teething. On Sunday he felt bad and you could tell. While giving him a bath I notice a "sunburn rash" but it went away. Then his temp. shot up and he got that "sunburn rash" again. So I call the nurse line and they said to bring him in. By the time we got to the ER his rash was gone. They looked in his ears and he had infections in both. This is why I could not get him to sleep laying down, the pressure in his ears. He got numbing drops and put on Amox. So now he is felling better. But on Monday we almost had to take him back to the ER due to him not going pee. But all is better now. Will update soon wiht pictures.

On a good note. Derek and I have finally decided to take a honeymoon. We are going to Jamica in May. We are going with a large group of people. We know someone getting married during that time. I am so excited.

Busy, Busy, Busy......

We have been crazy busy lately. Last Friday I took Mia, Owen, Natalee to the Magic House with my the help of my sister Vanessa. It was so crazy busy.

Then on Saturday we went to Boo at the Zoo. That was so busy. But I think that our friends with triples got more attention then the animals. I still don't know how they do it. They are lucky people because they have a lot of friends and family near. But the kids had a good time and that's what it is all about. The Clauser's, niece Katie and her son Cory and their nephew Mike D and his daughter Kalie (Not sure how it is spelled) and their other niece Jackie met us there. It was a lot fun.

Later that night we went to a Halloween party at our friends Ann and Tim's house. We had a lot of fun. There were some really good customs. But you can see those on everyone else blogs.

This was the best I could come up with.
Then Sunday I took Mia to the long awaited High School Musical 3: Senior Year. She love it. It thought it was too long but alright. I will say it open to a sweaty Zac Efron. He has such pretty eyes. It is wrong to thank a 19 year old is such good looking?

Last night we went Trick or Treating. Owen fell asleep so he didn't get a lot of candy for mommy. There was not a lot of lights on in our area. We went to about 5 house with light on and no one home. That makes me mad. If you don't want to give our candy turn your light off. We only went to about 15 houses. Because thats all there were. But it was still fun.

Another Update!!!

Okay so I went to get Owen out of bed and this what I found.... I am in so much trouble. He is already into everything. What happens when he starts walking. I can't wait but at the same time. I just don't know what I am going to do. I knew he was close to pulling up. I really need to baby-proof my house. I guess I better go to Target. Here is a video of Owen crawling. Okay so we went to the doctor for Mia's 5 year check up and Owen's 9 months check up. Owen weight 21.2 lbs. and Mia was 42 pounds. Both looking good. So Owen has got the crawling thing down. Today he has been everywhere. At one point I could not find him because he crawled away. I was so excited to get him to crawl and now wonder what was I thinking.

9 months old and on the move!!

Okay so just a quick update. On Saturday Owen sat up by himself. We were so proud. Then yesterday I looked in his mouth and found another tooth. Yeah. Then about half an hour later he started to crawl. Yes, your read that right. Owen is on the move. He is still getting the hang of it so there is not much of it going on. But there will be in a couple days. He was after the computer keyboard. What a reason to crawl. I just can't believe I have a 9 month old. I will post pictures soon.

I'm so Lazy!!!

Okay so I am super lazy when it comes to the blog. There has been a lot going on.
First, I am no longer working for a couple of reasons. One I hate being away from the kids and the second it really not worth my time for the amount of money I was making. So I am going to try to take a few kids on for some extra cash. And on the upside I will be with my kids all day.

Mia started soccer. It is funny to watch because you will see this pack of girls run by then about 20 yards back he comes Mia. So she is a little slow. Other then that we have been working on her letters, to get her to read. I think by the first of the year she will be reading.

Owen is getting so big. He is so close to crawling. He gets up on his knees and rocks. I can't wait for him to crawl but at the same time I dread it. He will be into everything. Lucky me. He can also get whatever he whats be rolling over and scooting around. We go to the doctor Wen. for 9 month check up. And our flu shots.

Derek took the day off on Wen. and we took the kids to the zoo. It was such a beautiful day. The kids loved it. This was the first time that Owen really looked at stuff. He loved the penguins. There was this one that was up at the window and he could not get enough of it. He also rode the Carousel for the first time. He thought it was fun. For the most part.

Happy 5th Birthday Mia and Happy 8th Month Birthday Owen

Well on Sept. 3rd my little girl turned 5 years old. It seems as only yesterday did she look like this.



Now she is all grown up. Playing soccer, learning to read and being the best big sister I know. I can't believe how the time has flown by. She is still same in that she is still a Drama Queen. I have a feeling she will not out grow that and I just don't understand where she gets that from. My grandma always says what goes around comes around. Thanks a lot grandma.



Owen is now 8th month old. I can't believe it. He still only has two teeth. On Saturday he said his first word(s). He said "Hi, DA DA." So now everyone is DA DA. It is so exciting. He also is starting to pull up. And he weighs around 22 lbs. We went to the doctor two weeks ago. Mia had strep and Coupe and Owen had coupe. That was a fun couple of days.

We spent Labor Day at my in-laws house. The guys went and played Golf while the girls and Owen swam. Owen loved it a lot more out then raft then in the raft he is a little fish. And my little girl lost the tube and realized that she only needs her water wings. It was a lot of fun for one last swim before the summer was over.






This past week was crazy. Friday after Derek got home from being out of town we realize that our basement had flooded again. 2nd time in 6 months. So we "floated" the carpet and dried it out. It is dried and seems to be looking good. We are going to do some landscaping to fix it hopefully. Saturday we went to a cousins wedding. Congrats Donnie and Bek on the marriage and the baby due on the way. Sometime is Jan. But before we made it to the wedding Owen scratched my eye. I didn't thank much of it. It really stared to hurt and went the doctor. Owen did a number on my words of the doctor. As of today the scratched has healed but this a lot of swelling. I have to see the doctor again tomorrow and see how the swelling. If not much better I may have to get a shot in my eye. I know it sound like so much fun.
