Quick Update

Owen had tubes put in his ears on the 11th. Everything went great. It took all about 7 minutes. We were back home by 9am. He has been babbling more. All he says all the time is Dada, bye-bye and bye-bye dada. These are his favorite things to say. He sometimes says Mama or Mom. But only when he wants something to eat or I am not getting the food on the table fast enought. He is trying to run. So it seems he balance is better. Other then that not too much going on. Just saying busy like always.

More about Little Man

Owen still has an ear infection. This has been going on since end of January. The doctor says every time we come see her diagnose him with an ear infection so he has had 6 since Nov. He went on Tuesday to see the ENT and he need tubes in his ears. He will be getting that done on March 11th at around 7am. No real sure. Will know more on Monday when they let me know just what time it is. I am just happen we finally have some answers.

On top of it Owen's asthma has been acting up. We have to do at least one breathing treatment a day. So I call the doctor and asked if a cat would have anything to do with it and she said yes. Snowball never goes in Owen's room but we are downstairs all day and that is where snowball stays at night. We are going to get Owen tested to see if he has an allergy to the cat. That appointment is on March 17th. We don't want to just give Snowball away but we will if Owen is allergic to him. We let you know how everything goes.

Parents-as-teachers were here this week. Owen is where he should be for a 14 month old. He can say more words let most his age. He just doesn't do it very offend. But I have been keeping his binky out of his mouth more. But the parents-as-teaches said that the ear infections could be another reason that he does not talk that much. Well see. I just think he is like Derek kind of quite. Mia also does the talking for him.
